JURISDICTION: Defendants’ motion to remand the case to the 193rd District Court of Dallas County is granted. The court lacks jurisdiction over cases filed before September 1, 2024, and this case was filed on April 8, 2022. H.B. 19 Section 8 both marks the date the court could begin accepting cases and restricts the court’s authority to act to cases commenced on or after September 1, 2024.
