Sheena R. Hamilton to be Honored by the St. Louis Business Journal
On September 8, 2017, Sheena R. Hamilton will be recognized as a member of the St. Louis Business Journal’s 2017 Class of Diverse Business Leaders. The honor is given to a civic leader that has gone above and beyond in the promotion of initiatives, resources, and community involvement in advancing diversity in the region. The Diverse Business Leaders awards luncheon will take place at Ballpark Hilton Hotel, One S. Broadway in downtown St. Louis from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A special section of the St. Louis Business Journal featuring the honorees will be published in the September 8 edition of the newspaper.
Hamilton’s practice at Dowd Bennett LLP concentrates on employment and complex commercial litigation and corporate internal investigations. Primarily she defends employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies across the country. Ms. Hamilton regularly speaks and writes on employment law, and she is passionate about the legal and St. Louis community. She serves as a Fellow for the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law, a member of the executive board for the Women Lawyers Association of Greater St. Louis, one of the youngest members of the United Way of Greater St. Louis’ Board of Directors, and a member of the Regional Business Council’s Young Professionals Network’s Steering Committee.
