Sheena Hamilton takes part in Street Law workshop
Dowd Bennett attorney Sheena Hamilton recently participated in a workshop for secondary social studies teachers conducted by Street Law (www.streetlaw.org). The theme of the workshop was “Federal Courts and Constitutional Controversies” and featured former federal law clerks. Hamilton, who served as a law clerk for then Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri after law school, had the opportunity to share some of her experiences as a law clerk and how the federal courts operate. The training session, sponsored by The Missouri Bar, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Federal Practice Memorial Trust, and the Judicial Learning Center, was open to secondary social studies teachers from Missouri and Illinois. At Dowd Bennett, Hamilton’s practice areas include employment and commercial litigation along with corporate internal investigations.
