Sheena Hamilton Elected to WLA Board of Directors

Sheena Hamilton was elected Secretary to the 2016-2017 Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis Board of Directors.  She was the WLA’s inaugural student liaison to the Board of Directors in 2009, and she is serving her sixth term on the Board.  The WLA will celebrate its 40th Anniversary with a keynote address from the Honorable Jane Kelly of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit at the St. Louis Science Center on September 10, 2016.   The organization was created to bring awareness to the need for diversity in the legal system.  The mission of the WLA is to advocate equality for women in the workplace, legal community, the judiciary and the community at large.  The WLA of Greater St. Louis encourages women to seek out leadership roles and presents volunteer opportunities and sponsorship of matters concerning women.
