John J. Rehmann joins Dowd Bennett
Dowd Bennett is pleased to announce that John J. Rehmann has joined the firm as an associate. Mr. Rehmann practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, corporate internal investigations and compliance, and white collar criminal defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rehmann practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of Sidley Austin, LLP where he focused on defense of white collar criminal cases and investigations by government agencies and congressional committees. Mr. Rehmann has extensive experience representing corporations and individuals in investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by state and federal government agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, Offices of Inspector General, and State Attorneys General. He graduated magna cum laude, Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers, from Washington University School of Law, where he was the Notes and Projects Editor for the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy. Mr. Rehmann also completed an externship with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri. Before entering private practice, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jorge A. Solis, United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
