James F. Bennett included in the 24th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America© for “Bet-the-Company” Litigation

Best Lawyers® has acknowledged Jim Bennett in The Best Lawyers in America – 2018.  Mr. Bennett is included in the list for his work in Commercial Litigation, Health Care Law, and Bet-the-Company Litigation in the St. Louis Region.

Mr. Bennett has been honored by Best Lawyers in certain categories since 2007 and this is the first year that he has been listed in Bet-the-Company Litigation.  Bet-the-Company Litigation is defined by the organization as litigation that has the ability to wreak havoc on a company’s finances and/or reputation, and can ultimately make or break a company.  Counsel in such cases must incorporate the needs of management, insurers and regulatory authorities in each aspect of the litigation, all while understanding that each decision can affect subsequent investigations or the final outcome.
