Dowd Bennett Wins Sixth Consecutive Corporate Philanthropy Award

Dowd Bennett was recognized as the most philanthropic small company for the sixth consecutive year by the St. Louis Business Journal at an April 20 breakfast.  In 2022, the firm contributed just shy of $1 million in cash and in-kind contributions locally and $1.5 million overall.  The largest regional donations went to the Greater St. Louis Foundation, an organization whose mission statement is, “Creating jobs & expanding inclusive economic growth.”  Dowd Bennett has also continued its support of causes important to attorneys and staff including Komen Greater St. Louis More Than Pink Walk and the ALS Association.

Dowd Bennett, founded by Ed Dowd and Jim Bennett in 2006, has been the sole recipient of the Small Company Corporate Philanthropy Award since its inception by the Business Journal in 2018.
