Dowd Bennett Prevails on a Novel Property Damage Claim for Client
On October 3, 2014, in the matter of Laclede Gas Company v. Park 370 Development, LLC et al., a St. Louis County Circuit Court jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of Dowd Bennett’s client Laclede Gas Company following a one-week trial. The jury found Park 370 Development, LLC, a land developer, liable based on a novel property damage claim that held Park 370 liable for damages that Laclede incurred as a result of the land developer’s excavation activity on a property adjacent to a public right-of-way where Laclede’s gas main was installed.
Laclede Gas Company was represented by Dowd Bennett Partner, Gabriel Gore, and Associate, Michael Kuhn.
