Dowd Bennett Recognized as Most Philanthropic Small Company for Eighth Straight Year
The St. Louis Business Journal has once again recognized Dowd Bennett as the most philanthropic small company in the St. Louis region. The award was given at an April 3 breakfast where founding partner Ed Dowd received the award on behalf of the firm. Dowd and co-founding partner Jim Bennett are known for their philanthropic endeavors. Dowd said, “Since our founding in 2006, Dowd Bennett has prioritized philanthropy. In the last several years, we have focused on contributing to organizations that address the essential needs of our region and strive to make St. Louis a more vibrant, safe and attractive place to live and work.”
In 2024, Dowd Bennett contributed over $2 million in cash and in-kind contributions with the largest local contributions going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis, Greater St. Louis Inc., and Attorneys Against Hunger.
