Dowd Bennett LLP Elects Michael J. Kuhn Equity Partner
St. Louis, MO—Dowd Bennett is proud to announce that Michael J. Kuhn was elected equity partner in December, 2019. Michael concentrates on complex civil litigation in both federal and state courts, with particular emphases in breach of contract, employment, and tort claims. He regularly works on the defense of multiplaintiff actions with the potential of tens or hundreds of millions of dollars of exposure, and also represents individual or corporate clients in single-issue suits. Having clerked for five federal judges, Michael leverages his familiarity with the court to counsel clients during all phases of litigation, from pretrial discovery through appeals. He has a notable flair for legal research and writing, and he is sought out to draft all manner of motions. Michael also oversees document collections and productions, in addition to drafting discovery requests and responses.
Michael graduated cum laude with a B.S. from Creighton University. He received his J.D. with distinction from the University of Nebraska, where he also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Nebraska Law Review. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.
