Creative Management Services v. Sears Roebuck & Co.

In December 2004, Jim Bennett and Megan S. Heinsz represented Creative Management Services in its case filed against Sears Roebuck & Co. involving constructions of model kitchens for use at major trade shows. Sears refused to pay and counterclaimed based on the plaintiff’s failure to perform. After trial, the jury rejected Sears’ counterclaim outright and rendered judgment in our favor on all claims. The ultimate judgment in the case was far in excess of the invoices for the work performed.
