Arin H. Smith represents clients in complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. She has experience in a wide variety of practice areas, including employment, commercial litigation, and class actions. She has also challenged government actions on behalf of her clients at the state and federal level. Arin has experience in all phases of trial preparation, including case management and strategy, discovery, fact and expert depositions, and motion practice.
Before joining Dowd Bennett, Arin was a senior associate in the Government and Regulatory Litigation practice group at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in Washington, D.C., where she represented clients in civil actions and investigations.
Arin is a former law clerk to the Honorable David B. Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, and to the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
