Jurisdiction. Under H.B. 19, the court only has jurisdiction over cases commenced on or after September 1, 2024, and the court did not have jurisdiction over this removed case, which was filed in 2017; case remanded to the 236th District Court of Tarrant County; while ETC’s removal notice was legally impermissible, its argument that a pre-September 1, 2024 case could be removed was not per se groundless or frivolous, and Tema’s motion for sanctions is denied.
