Milton Wilkins Elected to the Board of Directors of Jazz St. Louis

Dowd Bennett associate Milton Wilkins was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Jazz St. Louis.  The non-profit organization, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, has a mission “to lead the St. Louis community in advancing the uniquely American art of jazz through live performance, education and community engagement.”

Milton said, “I am honored to join the Board of Jazz St. Louis, which celebrates an art form with strong roots here in St. Louis.  I look forward to helping JSL get its message and sound into the community in full force.”

Dowd Bennett Counsel Russell Jackson is Chair of the Jazz St. Louis Board:  “Jazz St. Louis exits the pandemic stronger than when we entered it. We’ve gone beyond just in-person instruction, and now offer online lessons with jazz greats, as well as lesson plans and videos for teachers on educators’ platforms. Milton will help us devise more ways to reach new audiences and make music education more accessible to St. Louis area youth.”
