Jim Bennett Receives Prestigious Award from his Alma Mater
On Saturday, April 20, 2013, Jim Bennett returned to Westminster College to accept The Young Alumni Achievement Award. Each year, Westminster recognizes alumni who convey the college’s mission through exceptional accomplishments early in their careers and/or who are actively involved in guiding and serving their communities. Accompanied by his wife Melanie, Mr. Bennett gave a speech at the awards convocation ceremony in which he highlighted Westminster’s impact on both his personal and professional life. He said, “Westminster, with its small classes taught by distinguished full professors in an interactive environment, was the perfect environment for me and I know it opened my eyes to all the possibilities that were out there and prepared me to navigate through my life and career.”
